As a huge My Neighbor Totoro fan, I had a SQUEE moment when I saw Hannah Kyong Nye’s Totoro inspired notepad. Every page features the same illustration of Totoro, his stomach with writing lines and his friends at the bottom. Every notepad comes with 30 pages to write down your notes! It makes a beautiful gift for any Totoro fans in your life :)
I found this giant pencil sharpener looking kitchen gadget this morning called Karoto. It was designed by Avichai Tadmor to peel, sharpen & curl ribbons of carrots, zucchini, cucumbers and other similar shaped vegetables to decorate and add flair to your salads and dishes. You can find it at the site Monkey Business where they sell many other designer products.
The daily deal site, Zulily, is selling Pet Costumes at half price & I figured I’d get Pancho’s costume while I had the chance. Pancho is our Yorkie and we draw comics inspired by him. I picked the lion costume for him in XS. I will post pics reporting how it fit him once it arrives. Other costumes that looked cute were the 1. Honey Bear Outfit, 2. Turtle Outfit, 3. Quackers Duck Outfit, 4. Lil Lion Outfit.
During our recent close call with Hurricane Isaac vs. South Florida I considered not having power for weeks at a time. Not being able to have perishable food and living off canned goods is not the brightest of prospects. So when I stumbled upon this Solar Power Generator I got so excited! Excited for so many reasons! We’re mega excited about the mini season Breaking Bad finale airing this Sunday. We’ve been long time fans of the show, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Bob Odenkirk.
