I have fallen in love with the hand drawn illustrations of French artist, Sobi Graphie. They are quirky, funny, and adorable. She draws expressive cute characters that make you want to collect them all. Just look at that cat’s face with a pineapple on its head! The best part is she draws on everyday items you can admire and use everyday. Check out the Sobigraphie Etsy Shop and you might end up with a bunch of illustrated drinkware and totes. I am definitely bookmarking her shop for future gift purchases for my quirky and art loving friends.
I am a huge fan of unicorns and chubby things. So of course I was attracted to her chubby unicorn illustrations. This “In Unicorn We Trust” Tote Bag is the perfect bag to take to the beach or pool. It’s a no hassle canvas tote that fits bulky items easily. I would also take this trusty bag to the bookstore or farmer’s market.
It’s almost Mother’s Day! Is your mother a cat lady? Are you yourself a cat lover? Maybe you know an animal lover who could use some cheering up. Are you searching for a gift for someone who doesn’t hate cats? Well, then this post is for you! During my relentless browsing of the internet I have found quite a selection of cat mugs. It’s no big surprise since the internet loves cats. I’m excited to be sharing them with you because mugs are such useful gifts. Everyone needs mugs at work and at home; and mugs tend to disappear. So everyone appreciates a mug. The trick comes down to finding a mug with a theme that matches the gift receiver’s personality. Do not fret too much in this regard because people happily drink coffee from boring, old, tacky, real estate mugs. If you find a theme they like to go with their mug, you just get some wonderful brownie points. I like brownie points, so I would go for themes that most people appreciate – like cats. Ready to dive down a wormhole of feline drinkware? Here we go!

For today’s Wednesday Wishlist, I have some really cute clothes, animal inspired goodies and structured satchels. I have such an enormous collection of dresses that I want to feature in this and upcoming Wednesday Wishlist features; but I decided to mix them up with other garments. I want to avoid sharing with you the same mistake I made with my closet. I have too many dresses and too few tops and bottoms to change it up a bit. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing dresses. They are comfortable and make me feel fancy without much effort. However, it’s harder to change things up with dresses. Mixing and matching tops with skirts, pants, and shorts give you more flexibility with your collection of clothes. You can wear the same top with different bottoms for completely different looks without looking like you’re wearing a uniform. To get that unique wardrobe effect from dresses you need to buy many, many, many dresses. Of course, wearing sweaters with dresses and changing the accessories, such as tights, do add some variety; but not as much as separates. Still, I am addicted to dresses and I will continue to add to my stockpile. Nonetheless, I am making a conscious effort to add more top and bottom options to my closet. So with my rant out of the way, let’s get started :)

Coat With 60s Styling
This coat’s fit and flare silhouette makes it look like a dress. It has a strong military look with the double row of buttons and camo-ish green. If you decide to wear it over a dress, it will be like you’re wearing a dress within a dress. That sounds like a fantastic idea for a dress junkie like me :) It also looks like it is made of thick material that will actually keep you warm. I have coats that have thin lining and are pretty much just decorative.
Sur La Table has an adorable Easter chick collection. The collection includes chick plates, cups, knives, aprons, and more. These are not any old chicks. They are chubby, super-cute chicks that make me want to have a chick party! Yes, my obession with round, chubby things strikes again. Get ready, there’s a lot of yellow coming up and it will brighten your day.
Chick Mug
Imagine decorating your dessert table with these chubby chick mugs. You can fill them with jelly beans, glazed almonds, foil covered chocolate eggs, or any other type of goodies you plan to fill the easter baskets with. Then again, imagine the chick mugs holding condiments for the party, sugar and cream for coffee; or ketchup, mustard, and mayo for the BBQ. Your other option is to actually use them as adorable mugs and serve your drinks: lemonade, hot chocolate, milk, soda, etc. Regardless of how you plan to add these chick mugs to your Easter party, they will be a huge success.
Everyday, I scour a long list of my favorite sites and pin all the awesome things to my Pinterest Boards. (Follow me on Pinterest – user: PinkghostFL) I stumble on some pretty cool stuff but not all of it makes it to the blog. So in an effort to bring some more of my Pinterest finds to Cool Gifting I decided to start a new feature: Wednesday Wishlists. Essentially, this feature will have the items I have loaded in my shopping carts during my daily internet window shopping. I hope you find great gift ideas for others and yourself in these posts :)
Midtown Streets Striped Dress
This dress made it into my shopping cart once I saw the back. I always fall for dresses that have cutouts in the back. My first dress with a cutout back had a square cutout and it was made by Vans. Ever since, I always check out the backs of dresses for a unique cutout. When I saw the cute circular cutout in this dress, I knew I had to have it. It’s a lower cutout that allows you to wear a bra without showing your bra strap. Aside from the nice cutout, what sold me were those coral buttons down the back. What a nice touch! Finally, the color combination of beige, dark coral and white feels a little like neapolitan ice cream. Sweet!
I have always loved polka dots. They are a classic pattern; they don’t really go out of style. However, there is a polka dot trend going on right now and polka dots are back in a big way. I have spotted dots on dresses, tops, skirts, shoes, bags, accessories, and even home goods! Needless to say, I am ecstatic. I can never have enough polka dots in my closet. No scratch that – I can never have enough polka dots in my life.
In my excitement to share all the beautiful polka dot goodies I found, I went a little overboard. Now I have so many goodies I want show you that I had to break them up into categories. I will not be posting a large image and description for everything because the post would be too enormous. So I have added these little javascript widgets that let you browse the goodies and decide if you want to look more into them. The only down side is that you can’t see these nifty widgets if you read the blog via our newsletter from your email. So I encourage you to visit the blog on a browser so you can see all the polka dots in all their glory.
I hope you share my love for dotted patterns. Let’s get down to business.

Who doesn’t love that big ball of chubbyness Baymax? He’s honorable, sweet, smart, strong, funny, and above all adorable. If you’re looking for a theme to your next party, Big Hero 6 is a winner. I hunted down all the Big Hero 6 decorations and party supplies I could find. Here are some cool things I found.
When preparing for a party the first things you need are the basics: plates, napkins, cups & invitations. Once you have these, you can focus on the other decorations and activities you want to have at your party.
Big Hero 6 Lunch Plates
These official Big Hero 6 party plates feature Baymax flying in his mecha outfit with Hiro on his back.
This week I started watching the Breaking Bad spin off, Better Call Saul. Holy moly, it’s so great! I was left with a tv show void once the finale of Breaking Bad aired. There hasn’t been a show that truly grabs me since the Walter White saga ended – until the premier of Better Call Saul.
WARNING! SPOILER ALERT! (Skip this paragraph if you don’t want to read a spoiler.) What I love about this show is that it uses the same story telling and character development as Breaking Bad. So, even though Walter White is not in the show, it feels like you’re watching an episode of Breaking Bad. I actually might end up liking this show more because it builds on Breaking Bad. Characters like Mike and Tuco cross over and appear on Better Call Saul. So you get to watch the new show with a new story line but you also get to be on the look out for easter eggs referencing Breaking Bad. Yes, I am a total Breaking Bad fangirl and I love it! Things like the nail salon Saul Goodman tried to get Walter White to use as a front for their drug business turns out to be the place where he very first started. James Mcgill, Saul Goodman’s real name, starts out by renting a dingy little space as his first office in the nail Salon.
